Aircraft Avoidance Lights (A.A.L.)

Decommissioning of microwave radio equipment is carried out by Justix Network Technical Services (JNTS) using our qualified and Certified Engineering and Rigging teams. The equipment is carefully removed, and is put into storage, recycled, or disposed of in accordance with the WEEE Directive. Complete cleansing of sensitive data from all equipment prior to disposition is assured. Decommissioning of microwave radio equipment can free up space on masts, pylons and buildings, with a saving of site-share costs and OFCOM charges. Sometimes the antenna fixings and cabling are left in situ for future installations, as agreed by the mast or building managers.
